Psychiatric and Social Management of the Elderly: the Experience of Mora’s Santa Casa da Misericórdia

Abstract

Mora’s Santa Casa da Misericórdia (MSCM) has currently a programme supporting the elderly people. Its global rationale includes different facilities aimed at addressing specific needs of this population. This paper presents some of the MSCM 470 years of history and its current strategy.
