Synthesis, Characterization and Antimicrobial Evaluation of some 5- (substituted)-2-amino-Thiadiazoles

Abstract
Novel thiadiazoles were synthesized from Morpholine, Phthalimide and Piperidene. From these compounds various 1,3,4-Thiadiazole derivatives (A4(a-j), B4 (a-j), C4 (a-j) respectively have been synthesized. The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by means of IR, 1H NMR, and nitrogen estimation. These compounds were screened for antibacterial (Staphylococcus aureusATCC 9144, Becillus Cereus ATCC 11778, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 2853and anti-fungal (Aspergillusniger ATCC 9029 and Aspergillus fumigates ATCC 46645) by paper disc diffusion technique.
