Abstract
Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction is a relatively new area in modern dentistry. TMJ dysfunctions refers to any problem thatrestrains normal operations of the complex system of muscles, ligaments, discs and bones. Many clinicians still fell that T.M.D. refers only to articulation and psychological status of the patient and only require medical treatment or immobilization with splint. That’s why the objective of the presentation is to teach the clinician to first recognize and properly diagnose the various stages of T.M.D. from the simplest to the most complicated and difficult to treat
