Wavelet Time-frequency Analysis of Electro-encephalogram (EEG) Processing
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2010, Vol 1, Issue 5
Abstract
This paper proposes time-frequency analysis of EEG spectrum and wavelet analysis in EEG de-noising. In this paper, the basic idea is to use the characteristics of multi-scale multi-resolution, using four different thresholds to wipe off interference and noise after decomposition of the EEG signals. By analyzing the results, understanding the effects of four different methods, it comes to a conclusion that the wavelet de-noising and soft threshold is a better conclusion

Model Study and Fault Detection for the Railway System
The wheel-rail-sleepers system is simulated as a series of moving point loads on an Euler–Bernoulli beam resting on a visco-elastic half space. This paper concentrates on the rail-sleepers interaction system (railway sys...
An Overview of Recent Machine Learning Strategies in Data Mining
Most of the existing classification techniques concentrate on learning the datasets as a single similar unit, in spite of so many differentiating attributes and complexities involved. However, traditional classification...
QR Code Patterns Localization based on Hu Invariant Moments
The widespread utilization of QR code and its coincidence with the swift growth of e-commerce transactions have imposed the computer vision researchers to continuously devise a variety of QR code recognition algorithms....
Computation of QoS While Composing Web Services
Composition of web services has emerged as a fast growing field of research since an atomic service in its entirety is not capable to perform a specific task. Composition of web services is a process where a set of web s...
Social Media Cyberbullying Detection using Machine Learning
With the exponential increase of social media users, cyberbullying has been emerged as a form of bullying through electronic messages. Social networks provides a rich environment for bullies to uses these networks as vul...
