Abstract

Wedge – shaped defects have a leading place among the non carious affections of the teeth, and the clinical particularities make it even more actual in modern stomatology. A high rate of wedge-shaped defects is caused by its difficulty in diagnosis and treatment. While working with this theme I have made research, diagnosed and treated teeth with this pathology. In diagnosing this pathology I have used clinical and paraclinical methods for examination of the patients. Treatment process was made using the most modern technologies and methods, of which the most effective is considered - esthetic filling. As a result of made treatment of the wedge-shaped defects, after filling there were no complications.
