NECESSITY OF GIS SYSTEM FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD MANAGEMENT IN GALATI
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2011, Vol 14, Issue 1
Abstract
Nonionizing radiation-emitted by power lines, radios, TVs, cellular phones, microwave ovens, and many other sources-consists of longer wavelengths have the ability to do permanent damage at the cellular level. Geographic Information Systems in Electromagnetic Fields Modelling should be encouraged as a valid support to the monitoring EMF exposure in Romania. Galati’s population living near sources of electromagnetic fields must know it could affect their health and their property value. In a future in Galati will be created a database with sources of radiofrequent radiation such as UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) base stations, radio/television broadcast transmitters and high voltage power lines. Radiofrequent waves are electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths exceeding 1 mm. They comprise radar, radio and television waves and also industrially and domestically used microwaves of frequency 2,450 MHz.

COPPER IONS REMOVAL FROM ELECTROPLATING WASTEWATER USING NEW TYPE OF ION EXCHANGE MEMBRANES
In this paper the removal of copper ions from electroplating wastewater has been studied using a three-compartment electrodialysis cell of own construction device (made of PVC) and different type of acrylic ion-exchange...
CONVEX HULL PROBLEM, LATTICE POINTS AND APPLICATIONS
Problem of finding convex hull is one of the central problems of computational geometry. It appears both applications in economic, financial, environmental, architectural and analytical geometry in specific issues. Latti...
ON AN INEQUALITY OF OSTROWSKI TYPE
The main purpose of this paper is to derive new inequalities of Ostrowski type in the weighted case. New estimations of the remainder term in quadrature formulas are obtained. Also, the two-point Ostrowski inequality is...
APPLICATIONS OF Itô STOCHASTICALLY INTEGRAL IN THE EVALUATION OF THE EXPECTATION VALUES OF BROWNIAN MOTION
In the paper below are evaluated the expectation values of the natural powers of Brownian motion. It is given the definition of these evaluations and will be demonstrated the recurrent relation between the terms of the s...
ON THE REPRESENTATION OF A H1 (a, b) DISTRIBUTION THAT FULFILS u (a) = 0
We define the closed cone of increasing functions and represent each u as a sum of its projection on cone and the remaining part. We then define a scalar product and prove that the induced norm convergence implies the un...
