Abstract
The brief illustrated review of effective methods of engineering solutions for protecting national economic objects from the threat of snow avalanches is given. The results of field studies in the field of glaciology are presented. The article deals with the occurring in the zones of formation of fresh water reserves in the basins of the Aral Sea in connection with the global change in the average annual temperature of the region.
