Nekrotyczne zapalenie powięzi – potencjalnie śmiertelna choroba

Abstract
Nekrotyczne zapalenie powięzi jest stosunkowo rzadko występującym zapaleniem tkanki podskórnej o mieszanej etiologii bakteryjnej, obejmującym powięź oraz otaczające tkanki. Martwica tkanek powstaje na skutek niedokrwienia wywołanego zakrzepicą naczyń podskórnych. Infekcja na ogół rozwija się u osób z zaburzeniami odporności powstałymi na różnym tle. Z uwagi na gwałtowny przebieg zakażenia, choroba często kończy się zgonem. Wczesne rozpoznanie, natychmiastowa interwencja chirurgiczna oraz zastosowanie antybiotykoterapii ma decydujący wpływ na rokowanie. Artykuł przedstawia współczesne poglądy dotyczące etiopatogenezy, przebiegu i leczenia nekrotycznego zapalenia powięzi.
