Journal Title: Baltic Journal of Coleopterology - Year 2009, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
The faunal data on 12 species of 10 genera of subfamily Alticinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) is presented. General information on the distribution and host plants of species are given. The bibliographical information on Latvian flea beetles are summarized for the first time. The collection of the Daugavpils University Institute of Systematic Biology (DUBC) was used for current research. Two species, namely Batophila fallax Weise, 1888 and Dibolia timida (Illiger, 1807), are herewith excluded from the list of the leaf-beetles of Latvia (15 species).
