New Relations Using Modified Bessel Functions with Application to pn Junction Circuits
Journal Title: International Journal of Contemporary Research and Review - Year 2017, Vol 8, Issue 10
Abstract
A methodforgenerating relations betweenmodifiedBesselfunctions has beenrevealed [2]. Theseidentitiesaregeneratedon a solidphysicalbasis. Circuits comprisingpnjunctionsexhibitintermodulationproducts in theform of modifiedBesselfunctions. A spectrum line can be describedas a baseharmonicorasit is generatedfromotherspectrumlinesas a consequence of nonlinear and/ortime variant components in thecircuit. Weneglectthehigherorderproducts andkeeponlythat of thelowestpossibleorder and makeitequaltothementionedbaseharmonic. Forthatreason, ourequationsare of approximatenature, buttheyarequiteuseful in theanalysis of pnjunctioncircuitsasourexamples show it.Weobtain relations forfrequencydoubling, triplingand thirdorderintermodulation and verifythemusingtheharmonicbalanceanalysis of aonediodecircuit
