Ni putes ni soumises. Media and women with other gender?
Journal Title: ESSACHESS - Journal for Communication Studies - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 2
Abstract
Since 2000, new women's movements emerge like Ni putes ni soumises (NPNS) who give a new approach to activism: not the one on feminists in the classical sense of the term with the connotations it carries, but women carrying claims in the media and through the media on the living conditions of the residents of the suburbs. So, many media will take part in the mediatization of NPNS and its discourses, and will serve in some way as a place of “factory†for the public opinion.
