Novel Hierarchical Micro/Nano Modified Surfaces for Dental Implants
Journal Title: Acta Marisiensis. Seria Technologica - Year 2018, Vol 15, Issue 1
Abstract
Present paper presents the modification at nano scale level of the surfaces of Ti6Al4V alloy that were previously modified at micro scale level by acid etching (AE) or by sand blasting with large grit and acid etching (SLA). Continuous, self-ordered nanostructured (nanoporous/nanotubular) oxide layers superimposed onto micro rough topographies were developed by using electrochemical anodization in fluoride based solutions, and optimized process parameters. Novel hierarchical micro/nano modified surfaces, with well developed oxide nanotubes of 40-110 nm in diameter, were synthesis by anodization in 1M H3PO4 + 0.4 wt% HF electrolyte, at anodization potential of 24 V, applied with a potential ramp of 0.08 V/s.

Time Series Analysis Using Entropy Metrics
Entropy metrics are valuable tools for use in systems science and engineering. Both of domains are assumed to work with signals, to perform testing and evaluation tasks through specific signals. Entropy metrics indicate...
Remarks on a Generalization of a Question Raised by Pál Erdős Concerning a Geometric Inequality in Acute Triangles
The purpose of this paper is to give a negative answer to a possible generalization of an open question raised by Pál Erd˝os, concerning an inequality in acute triangles. We prove here that from a < b < c does not follow...
What Does Engineering Ethics Involve?
This paper aims at elucidating and concluding information on engineering ethics, rights of engineers versus employee rights. This theoretical objective was achieved by the bibliographic study of some reference works in t...
Study Regarding the Optimization of Corn Production According to Hectolitric Mass and Seeding Time
This article approaches the nonlinear regression model, the method of the smalles squares with examples, and calculations for the power function model. For this, we used data obtained from a study using corn hybrids such...
Geometrical Inequalities in Acute Triangles Involving the Medians IX
The purpose of this paper is to give a positive answer to a new open question that aimed to generalize previous open questions formulated by researchers in the field of geometrical inequalities. In this sense we prove th...
