Abstract
WSTĘP: W dniach 3.06.2011–06.06.2011 r. w Chicago (USA) odbył się coroczny zjazd ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology).MATERIAŁ I METODY: Materiał omówiono z podziałem na zagadnienia dotyczące nowotworów zarodkowych, nowotworu nerkowo-komórkowego, raka stercza i raka wywodzącego się z dróg moczowych.WYNIKI: Przejrzano ponad 160 prac dotyczących onkologii urologicznej. Zidentyfikowano i omówiono wyniki badań III fazy, w tym analizy uzupełniające do uprzednio opublikowanych wyników III fazy. Pokrótce omówiono także badania I i II fazy, prezentowane w trakcie kongresu.WNIOSKI: Kongres American Society of Clinical Oncology jest podsumowaniem postępu, jaki dokonał się w ostatnim okresie w dziedzinie onkologii.
