Abstract

Materials to the knowledge of the fauna of Lepidoptera of the Upper Silesia. As a result of the recent field research new data for 11 species of moths from the Upper Silesia are presented. Out of them 6 are for the first time found in this area: Monochroa sepicolella, Caryocolum alsinella, Caryocolum proxima, Helcystogramma albinervis, Acleris cristana and Grapholita lobarzewskii (marked with an asterisk). The Carpatolechia decorella, Celypha woodiana, Ancylis tineana, and Catoptria fulgidella are rarely spotted in Silesia.
