Numerical Solution of Volterra Integral Equation by Adomian Decomposition Method
Journal Title: Asian Research Journal of Mathematics - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper, we present a numerical method for solving linear and nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the second kind which is based on the use of Adomian decomposition method. It can effectively solve problems that may be complex when using the standard Adomian Decomposition Method such as complex integrals. It has mechanized steps that can be easily achieved in Matlab. We also prove its convergence and list a few numerical examples to show the effectiveness of the numerical method.

Invariant Compact Sets of Nonexpansive Iterated Function Systems
In this work we prove the existence of invariant compact sets under the action of nonexpansive iterated functions systems on normed spaces. We generalized the previous result to convex metric spaces and we also show that...
T-Fuzzy Left h-Ideals of Hemirings
In this paper using t-norm T, The concepts of T-fuzzy left h-ideals of hemirings are introduced. Some new characterization theorems of these kinds of T-fuzzy left h-ideals are given. The normal T-fuzzy left h-ideals of h...
From Pascal Triangle to Golden Pyramid
We introduce a “structure” of epic proportions – golden pyramid whose sacred geometry is “Fibonacci squared”. In terms of mathematical beauty, the golden pyramid will perhaps be found to be comparable to Pascal triangle.
Problem Solving Framework for Mathematics Discipline
This paper identifies a 4-step framework that can be implemented in almost every mathematics lesson and training setting to move learners towards problem solving effectively. This framework which is built upon existing i...
Peristaltic Transport with Viscous Dissipation Effect in a Multi-stenosed Artery
In this paper, we investigated the effect of pulse amplitude, radius of constriction and Reynolds number on the blood flow through a multi-stenosed artery under the influence of viscous dissipation and insignificant free...
