O stwarzaniu siebie na nowo O zmianie tożsamości w działaniach współczesnych artystów
Journal Title: Amor Fati - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
There are so many definitions of identity. It’s very difficult to find an all-embracing (or universal) definition of identity in psychology, philosophy or even sociology. The author tries to recognize the reasons of this situation, especially using contemporary art. Contemporary artists try to answer the question: who are we now? How can we find ourselves in reality, in society or in culture? The author examines Polish and international artists - their visual works which explain how we can understand identity and personality. What is most important is this article are performances and artistic experiences.
