Abstract
Doniesienie dotyczy 19-letniego pacjenta z wrodzonym brakiem niektórych struktur kończyny dolnej lewej (amelia), bez dodatkowych wad rozwojowych. Wrodzony brak obejmował kość strzałkową i kości stopy, a kość piszczelowa zredukowana była do 3 cm, co uniemożliwiało protezowanie podudziowe. Celem badań była ocena możliwości siłowych mięśni działających na staw biodrowy pacjenta z amelią po stronie z ubytkiem i zdrowej. Pacjent z wrodzonym brakiem kończyny dolnej, w porównaniu z osobą zdrową cechuje się znaczną dysproporcją momentu siły mięśniowej zginaczy do prostowników stawu biodrowego, mogącą doprowadzić do uszkodzenia grupy słabszej. Dysproporcje te można zmienić prowadząc postępowanie usprawniające w kierunku wzmocnienia prostowników stawu biodrowego.
