Abstract
Th e subject of the article is one of the problems arising from the application of unifi ed solu-tions concerning the law of succession in cross-border relations, namely, the eff ectiveness of the rejection of inheritance on behalf of a minor residing abroad. Th e problem stems from the multiplicity of issues concerning the rejection of inheritance in legal transactions with foreign countries. Th e lack of comprehensive legal regulation, as well as case law or doctrine in this area cause a lack of legal certainty as to the outcome of a case. A hypothetical situation was created for the purpose of the article to indicate the complexity of the problem and to try to resolve it.
