Abstract
One of the most interesting and original artists of the mid-nineteenth century is impossible to put in any number, anywhere it falls, doesn't fit anywhere, but it is dissimilarity, originality, uniqueness, ability to keep its, albeit timid, step has provided Leonid Ivanovich Solomatkin (1837-1883), was special, he only owned a place in Russian art. L.I. Solomatkin lived a difficult, awkward and very typical Russian life.
