Of macro trends to the election. Reading trends of consumption of ICT and internet in Mexico, as elements of the public space

Abstract
This study, more than being an economic analysis of a market (information and communication technologies, in this case) is a multidisciplinary analysis of the social reconfiguration on its’ ways of communicating, informing, their social networks and democracy, with the use of information technologies, internet and mobile services. Data is analyzed from the basic economics theory and the argument of sociologist David Carracedo, specialist in digital democracy, whose postulate is applied in the analysis of statistical data of Mexican consumption tendencies of icts, telecommunications and users habits on internet. There are two main object of this article, in one hand is pretended to analyze the inequality of the use and access to ict´s and telecommunications, as well as study the consequences based on authors’ work. People with a high income and high quality education; have gotten the chance to use these tools on their please, however the unequal use of these and new technologies keep growing. On the other hand, there is other objective among this article, which is analyze the possibilities and advantages of new communication technologies, as well as some representative examples of the redesign of the public media through internet and the real impact they could generate at the institutional environment.
