OIL POLICY OF THE MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES IN THE GLOBAL OIL MARKETS AFTER IRAQ WAR

Abstract

In the monopole system of international relations formed as a result of the collapse of the USSR, US hegemony and opposition to this led to the emergence of ethno political conflicts in the regions. After the Iraq war, as a result of the balancing in the region of the political forces of the Arab countries, formed as a new force, the emergence of a new regional balance of power led to the strengthening of Turkey's position in the Middle East. The absence of alliance and peace among the Arab countries, along with the existence of Turkey as a third state between the United States and the states of the region, shows that the latter is of great importance in the settlement of conflicts, as well as in the possession of power in the region. Considering the region in terms of force within the triangle “US-Russia-China”, we are witnessing a clash of interests, and especially from the point of view of the energy factor, the struggle of the three states in the South Caucasus region.
