On a Certain Subclass of Meromorphic Functions Defined by a New Linear Differential Operator
Journal Title: Journal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences - Year 2017, Vol 49, Issue 3
Abstract
In this article, a new linear differential operator I^k (L_s^a (a_l,b_m )f(z)) is defined by using the Hadamard product of the q-hypergeometric function and a function related to the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function. By using this linear differential operator, a new subclass L_(s,a)^(k,*) (α_l,β_m;A,B,b) of meromorphic functions is defined. Some properties and characteristics of this subclass are considered. These include the coefficient inequalities, the growth and distortion properties and the radii of meromorphic starlikeness and meromorphic convexity. Finally, closure theorems and extreme points are introduced.

New Estimation Rules for Unknown Parameters on Holt-Winters Multiplicative Method
The Holt-Winters method is a well-known forecasting method used in time-series analysis to forecast future data when a trend and seasonal pattern is detected. There are two variations, i.e. the additive and the multiplic...
Development of a Low-Cost TiO2/CuO/Cu Solar Cell by using Combined Spraying and Electroplating Method
A simple method is proposed to develop a low-cost TiO2/CuO/Cu based solar cell. The cell is made by employing a lower grade (technical grade) of TiO2 as the active material. CuO powder is synthesized using a wet chemical...
Study on Estimates of Travel Distance, Velocity and Potential Volume of Amahusu Sliding Plane using Energy Conservation Approach in Conjunction with Geoelectric Survey
The investigation of landslides applying various methods has been receiving increased attention in recent years. This study was aimed at assessing the estimated distribution of landslide movement using an energy conserva...
The Study of Effect of Toxic Metal on Plant Growth Dynamics with Time Lag: A Two-Compartment Model
A two-compartment mathematical model is proposed for the study of individual plant growth dynamics with time lag due to the presence of toxic metals in the soil. It is assumed in the model that nutrient uptake by the roo...
Inclusion Properties of Orlicz and Weak Orlicz Spaces
In this paper we discuss the structure of Orlicz spaces and weak Orlicz spaces on R^n. We obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for the inclusion property of these spaces. One of the keys is to compute the norm...
