On generalized Mersenne numbers, their interpretations and matrix generators
Journal Title: Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska. Sectio A, Mathematica - Year 2018, Vol 72, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper we introduce generalized Mersenne numbers. We shall present some of their interpretations and matrix generators which are very useful for determining identities.

The constructions of general connections on the fibred product of q copies of the first jet prolongation
We describe all natural operators A transforming general connections Gamma on fibred manifolds Y -> M and torsion-free classical linear connections Gamma on M into general connections A(Gamma, Lambda) on the fibred produ...
The generalized Day norm. Part II. Applications
In this paper we prove that for each 1<p,p~<∞, the Banach space (lp~,∥⋅∥p~) can be equivalently renormed in such a way that the Banach space (lp~,∥⋅∥L,α,β,p,p~) is LUR and has a diametrically complete set with empty int...
A survey of a selection of methods for determination of Koebe sets
In this article we take over methods for determination of Koebe set based on extremal sets for a given class of functions.
The natural operators of general affine connections into general affine connections
We reduce the problem of describing all Mfm-natural operators transforming general affine connections on m-manifolds into general affine ones to the known description of all GL(Rm)-invariant maps Rm∗⊗Rm→⊗kRm∗⊗⊗kRm for k...
Some properties for α-starlike functions with respect to k-symmetric points of complex order
In the present work, we introduce the subclass Tkγ,α(φ), of starlike functions with respect to k-symmetric points of complex order γ (γ≠0) in the open unit disc △. Some interesting subordination criteria, inclusion relat...
