On metrical fixed point theorems in symmetric spaces
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2015, Vol 9, Issue 9
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to obtain some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in symmetric spaces satisfying generalized -contractive conditions under the common limit range property. Our results generalize and extend some recent results to symmetric spaces and consequently a host of metrical common fixed theorems are generalized and improved. In the process, we also derive a fixed point theorem for four finite families of self-mappings which can be utilized to derive common fixed point theorems involving any number of finite mappings. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished.

A New Technique to Solve the Instant Insanity Problem
Instant Insanity [1] consists of four cubes, each of whose six faces are colored with one of the four colors: red, blue, white, and green. The object is to stack the cubes in such a way that each of the four co...
On the Production of Nonseparable Solutions of Linear Partial Differential Equations
A particular means of producing nonseparable solutions to a linear partial differential equation from given separable solutions to the same partial differential equation is exposed and extended. The method, involving sym...
Mathematica Module for Singularity Free Computations of Euler Parameters
In this paper,a Mathematica module for singularityfree computations of Euler parameters was established .The basic idea that we follow in developing these computationsis to make the values o...
Fuzzy decision making in Business intelligence in the context of Gilgit-Baltistan
The main purpose of this paper is to investigate and implement fuzzy decision based on unequal objectives and minimization of regret for the decision making in the business intelligence and to compare the weight of produ...
Common Fixed Point for Weakly Compatible Mappings on Dislocated Metric Spaces.
In this paper we prove a common fixed point theorem for multi-valued and single-valued mappings in a dislocated metric space. The set of generalized y-j weak contractive mappings considered in this paper contains the fam...
