On solutions of dynamic three-dimensional problems of the elasticity theory for earthquake modeling

Abstract

A three-dimensional dynamic problem of the theory of elasticity for a layered packet, which consists of N orthotropic plates is observed. It is considered that the measuring devices (tiltmeters, deformographs, etc.) are placed on the contact surface between the first and second layers of the package. By the asymptotic method of solution of the singular perturbed differential equations, is obtained the internal solution of the three-dimensional problem. The cases, when the solution becomes mathematically exact are shown. An illustrative example for a three-layer packet is given.
