On stability of the Cauchy functional equation in groupoids
Journal Title: Annales Mathematicae Silesianae - Year 2017, Vol 31, Issue
Abstract
We give some stability results for the functional equation $a(xy)=a(x)+a(y)$, where $a:G→E$, $G$ being a groupoid and $E$ a Banach space.

Properties and characterizations of convex functions on time scales
In this research we deal with algebraic properties and characterizations of convex functions in the context of a time scale; this notion of convexity has been studied for some other authors but the setting of properties...
Wild primes of a higher degree self-equivalence of a number field
Let $\mathcal{l} > 2$ be a prime number. Let $K$ be a number field containing a unique $\mathcal{l}$-adic prime and assume that its class is an $\mathcal{l}$th power in the class group $C_K$. The main theorem of the pape...
Gamma graphs of some special classes of trees
A set $S \subset V$ is a dominating set of a graph $G = (V,E)$ if every vertex $v \in V$ which does not belong to $S$ has a neighbour in $S$. The domination number $\gamma (G)$ of the graph $G$ is the minimum cardinality...
Characterizations of rotundity and smoothness by approximate orthogonalities
In this paper we consider the approximate orthogonalities in real normed spaces. Using the notion of approximate orthogonalities in real normed spaces, we provide some new characterizations of rotundity and smoothness of...
Mathematical models for dynamics of molecular processes in living biological cells. A single particle tracking approach
In this survey paper we present a systematic methodology of how to identify origins of fractional dynamics. We consider three models leading to it, namely fractional Brownian motion (FBM), fractional Lévy stable motion (...
