On the ambiguities of elegy “Under the Blue Sky...” by A. Pushkin

Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue

Abstract

The cause for writing the elegy “Under the Blue Sky...” was the death of Amalia Riznich, who was Pushkin's former beloved. The poet was astounded by his indifference to this message. The article attempts to explain this indifference. A convincing answer can be obtained from trustingly perceiving every word of the text and see the elegy in the context of the poem “Adjuration” addressed to A. Riznich.
