On the Derivatives of Bessel and Modified Bessel Functions with Respect to the Order and the Argument

Abstract

We present a closed-form expression for the first order derivatives of Bessel and modified Bessel functions with respect to both the order and the argument, i.e., when the order and the argument are dependent. The higher order derivatives are derived easily from the obtained first order one.
