On the Extremal Modified Wiener Index of Molecular Graphs
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Engineering and Technology - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 4
Abstract
In this article, we consider the relationship between modified Wiener index and some special parameters of molecular graph if parameter is a positive real number, and present the molecular graphs which minimize the modified Wiener index among all molecular graphs with given chromatic number and clique number and the molecular graphs which maximum the modified Wiener index among all molecular graphs with given clique number. Keywords: Chemical graph theory, molecular graph, Wiener index, modified Wiener index, chromatic number, clique number

Diagnostics of Motor Oil Quality by Using the Device Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance Phenomenon
We demonstrate the possibility to examine quality of motor oil by using the method of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for comparing values of refractive indexes inherent to initial and used oil. It was experimentally sho...
Evaluating the Parameters Affecting Rationalization of Water Consumption in Ablution
Muslims do ablution several times daily and a considerable amount of water is consumed in this process. Rationalization of water consumption is a critical issue because of limited water resources in many countries and hi...
Depelopment of Hydraulic Design Criteria for Runoff on Residential Area in Bekasi, Indonesia
Abstract:The incompatibilities of urban or residential area’s drainage channel construction with design criteria were often found caused by the difficulties in designing drainage channel. This research aims to determine...
An Optimization Algorithm for the Layout of Well Drilling
The author designs a genetic algorithm for the layout of well drilling based on partial order relations and establishes a mathematical model for the algorithm. Based on this, ideal results are obtained. The results of nu...
Optimization of Microwave-Assisted Extraction of Bioactive Compounds from Flavorings Roots of Plant Carissa edulis
Abstract: The present study reports the extraction of bioactive compounds from Carissa edulis roots. Composite Center Design (CCD), a widely used form of Response Surface Methodology(RSM), was used to investigate the eff...
