On the influence of concentrated force and distributed load on the band of variable width

Abstract

The mixed boundary problem for the band of variable widths is considered when one of the longitudinal edges is rigidly fixed, on the other straight edge the concentrated force and piecewise continuous load is influence. The problem is modeling the interaction of elastic base and foundation. On the combined way of asymptotic and Flaman–Businsk solutions the band of width variable strains and deformations are determined, when the band is on the smooth deforming form. The solutions of the partial problems for applied purpose are brought.
