On the Optimal Selection of Electrical Machines Fans
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper an analytic relationship for electrical machine fan design has been developed. In the particularly case of salient poles synchronous machine (with salient poles – for electromagnetic field excitation or surface mounded permanent magnet), this approach allowed to ex-press the fan power as a function of machine middle axe air gap. This analytic foundation developed may leads to different optimization criteria as specific active materials or costs. Numerical simulations confirm our approach.

A New Method for Modeling and Control of Hybrid Stepper Motors
Over time the mathematical models of the hybrid stepper motors (HSM) have been developed in various forms. In this paper we propose to use for HSM a model of a two-phase synchronous machine with permanent magnet in which...
Attempts for a Better Understanding of Entropy by the Students in CMU
Regarding thermodynamics, the perception of students is that unlike the first law, the second law has not simple statements. Despite of this, the first two laws are related to each other and their combination shows the i...
Simple Synthesis Method for Alumina Nanoparticle
Globally, the human population steady increase, expansion of urban areas, excessive industrialization including in agriculture, caused not only decrease to depletion of non-renewable resources, a rapid deterioration of t...
The Hill Chart Calculation for Francis Runner Models using the HydroHillChart - Francis Module Software
In practice, for the design of hydraulic turbines, laboratory tests performed on reduced scale models of turbines are recommended. The optimisation of a turbine model requires extensive experimental research on several v...
Study of the Magnetic Field of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator by using the Finite Element Method
The study shows the numerical simulation of the magnetic field for a permanent magnet synchronous generator prototype. Through the study, the OPERA software environment, a program based on the numerical computation using...
