On the relation between knowledge management with social capital and organizational intelligence of employees in Islamic Azad University

Abstract

The purpose of this study is examination of the relation between knowledge management with social capital and organizational intelligence. The study method is descriptive (surveying). The population consists of all employees in Islamic Azad University Shiraz Branch, with a number of 320, in the year 2013-14, 120 of whom were selected as the sample, using a simple random sampling method. Three questionnaires of knowledge management, social capital and organizational intelligence were used as the study instruments; the reliabilities of the questionnaires were estimated to be 0.922, 0.827 and 0.912, respectively. For analysis of data, SPSS, and the statistical methods of correlation coefficient matrix, simple and multiple regressions and path analysis were used. The findings showed that: 1. There is a positive relation between knowledge management, organizational intelligence and social capital, 2. There is a positive significant relation between the component of knowledge use, conformity and coherence, and strategic vision as organizational intelligence components and knowledge management. 3. There is a positive, significant relation between the components of social trust, civil participation and moral seeking as social capital components and components of the knowledge management.4. there is a positive significant relation between the components of knowledge management, social capital and organizational intelligence.
