Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 4
Abstract
The Ternary Quadratic Diophantine Equation given by is analyzed for its patterns of non-zero distinct integer solutions. A few interesting relations between the solutions and special polygonal and pyramidal numbers are presented.

On Some Common Fixed Point Theorems for Certain Contractive Mappings in Cone Metric Spaces
The aim of this paper is to establish the generalization of T-Reich and T-Rhoades type mappings on complete cone metric spaces. Huang and Zhang introduce the notion of cone metric spaces. He replaced real number system b...
Calibration of Pipeline Friction Coefficient Based on Random Optimization
The changed friction resistance coefficient of the pipeline after the oilfield water injection pipe network system is used for a long term cannot reflect the actual conditions of the pipeline accurately. As the main para...
A Comparison of Students’ Performance: An Application of Hotelling’s
This paper examined the equality of the performance of two sets of students: those who graduated in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 academic sessions from the Department of Statistics, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Nigeria, based...
A Class of Reflected BSDE with Integrable Parameters
In this paper, we establish an existence and uniqueness result for solutions to one dimensional reflected backward stochastic differential equations (RBSDEs) with only integrable parameters, where the generator is -Ho...
