On Usability Relationships of Computer Technology Input Artifacts and Rural Development in India

Abstract

Computer Technology is going to penetrate deep into all areas of development, but easy-to-use interface availability for rural chunk is a big challenge. Regular PC interface with a keyboard is definitely deplorable by majority of villagers. Several technologies are now available to provide easy-to-use input artifacts (IA’s) for villagers to provide good interface for new technology. In this paper, effort has been done to represent usability of Computer Technology Input Artifacts (CTIA) as coarse subjective relationships to build confidence among the villagers on the functioning of computer technology to speed up Rural Development (RD).
