Online Support for Project Management Developed on Service-Oriented Architectures
Journal Title: Revista Romana de Interactiune Om-Calculator - Year 2016, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
Developing web interactive systems is a laborious work that requires the management of complex projects including data models, task models, and the user interface. In this paper are presented the main features of an online support system for project management, the system is intended to offer an extended functionality - by the means of a “cluster” of Web services - in handling complex information organized in arborescent structures. The main goal of the project is the implementation of a scalable project management system (within an organization or a consortium) relying on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that offers compatibility/portability over heterogeneous platforms, Web engines, and Database systems.
