Ontology-based Semantic Search Engine for Healthcare Services
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2012, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
With the development of Web Services, the retrieval of relevant services has become a challenge. The keyword-based discovery mechanism using UDDI and WSDL is insufficient due to the retrieval of a large amount of irrelevant information. Also, keywords are insufficient in expressing semantic concepts since a single concept can be referred using syntactically different terms. Hence, service capabilities need to be manually analyzed, which lead to the development of the Semantic Web for automatic service discovery and retrieval of relevant services and resources. This work proposes the incorporation of Semantic matching methodology in Semantic Web for improving the efficiency and accuracy of the discovery mechanism.

Byte Level NIDS Improvement
Byte sequences are used in multiple network intrusion detection systems (NIDS) as signatures to detect nasty activity. Though being highly competent, a high rate of false-positive rate is found. Here we suggest the conce...
Purchase Decision for ATUR Broadband Network
Along with the booming of telecommunication, Internet web has become a vital media in the current global communication and the communication quality of Internet has been emphasized. To the client user, the Internet ATUR...
Reducing Power Consumption in Peer-to- Peer System
In peer-to-peer (P2P) system every node is peer and there is no centralized server. In this paper we discuss how to reduce the total electric power consumption of computers in peer to peer system. First we discuss the Ro...
Content Aware Media Retargeting for still images using Seam Carving
When changing height and width of image traditional techniques for image resizing are oblivious to the content of image. A simple operator seam carving is used for image and video retargeting. This seam carving operator...
Multi-Criteria Genetic Algorithms for Solving Pig Food Problems
This paper presents an algorithm based on genetic algorithms (GAs) for multi-criteria problems to solve pig food problems. The proposed algorithm called Era-GAs scheme forms pig food formulations with the aim of finding...
