Optical Solitons Simulation Using DSF and Optical Pulse Generator in Single Mode Optical Fiber
Journal Title: International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
Optical Solitons are the special breed of wave packets which can propagate over long distance without changing in its shape and velocity. Effective transmission distance could be increased by proper circuit designing and balancing Group velocity dispersion (GVD) with its counterpart Self phase modulation (SPM). This paper illustrates the generation of conventional soliton using DSF, the design and analysis of Dispersion Managed Soliton from 9000 km to 18000 km using Erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) and dispersion compensating fibers (DCF).
Survey on Congestion Control Mechanism for TCP
Many-to-one traffic pattern is common in many data centered applications, where multiple senders sending data to one receiver in parallel .This many-to-one traffic patterns overwhelms the single receiver and leads to per...
Comparison of Advanced Optimization Algorithm for Task Scheduling in Cloud Computing
In this paper, the algorithmic concepts of the CucKoo-search (CK), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Differential Evolution (DE), and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), algorithms have been analyzed. The mathematical optimiza...
Segmentation of Brain in MRI Images Using Watershed-based Technique
This was experimental study conducted to study segmentation of brain in MRI images using edge detection and morphology filters. For brain MRI images each film scanned using digitizer scanner then treated by using image p...
