OPTIMAL PERTURBATION FOR MIXED CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER IN RECTANGULAR CHANNEL
Journal Title: TEHNOMUS - Year 2011, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
We studied the growth velocity perturbation at the entrance of a rectangular channel for mixed convection heat transfer. The flow is bidimensionnel and the fluid is newtonian, incompressible obeying to Boussinesq approximations. Particular forms of entry velocity profile allowing a better heat transfer inside a channel for a given regime of flow is determined. Optimal control method based on adjoint equations is used to obtain optimality condition.

INFLUENCE OF POLYMER CONCENTRATION ON THE PERMEATION PROPERTIES OF NANOFILTRATION MEMBRANES
Driving force membrane processes seem to be most useful for water treatment. Membranes are very effective in removing a wide variety of water contaminants. Therefore, the use of these processes in water purification to r...
