Optimal Powersystem Restoration using Neural Network
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 5
Abstract
In this recent trends Power system restoration (PSR) became a challenging topic for the keen researchers. Many people proposes many techniques to solve this problem and overcome the limitations of the existing techniques. Now a days Artificial intelligence technique like artificial network got a good range of application in different areas of engineering and technology. This paper proposed a method based on Artificial Network which has taken care of the limitations encounter with existing method and improved the result from the earlier. The proposed scheme is tested on a 162-bus transmission system and compared with other restoration scheme. The results shows that the use of ANN in power system restoration can be considered for real time application.
