Optimization Cutting Parameters When Grinding ШX15 Steels Using Hai Duong Grinding Wheel

Abstract
This paper presents an experimental research to build two regressions of the relationship between machining surface roughness and cutting parameters when grinding the ШX15 steels by Hai Duong grinding wheels. Two types of Hai Duong grinding wheel were used that are Cn46.TB1.G.V1.400x40x203x50m/s and Cn46.CV1.G.V1.400x40x203x35m/s. Three cutting parameters were considered that are depth of cut, feed rate, and workpiece velocity. Genetic algorithm was used to find the values of cutting parameters for minimum value of surface roughness. By the proposed method of this work, the optimization values of cutting parameters was determined for each pair of workpiece - wheel.This method can be used to improve the quality of machining surface in grinding prosesses
