Optimizing Distribution Problems using WinQSB Software
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2015, Vol 22, Issue 1
Abstract
In the present paper we are presenting a problem of distribution using the Network Modeling Module of the WinQSB software, were we have 5 athletes which we must assign the optimal sample, function of the obtained time, so as to obtain the maximum output of the athletes. Also we analyzed the case of an accident of 2 athletes, the coupling of 3 athletes with 5 various athletic events causing the maximum coupling, done using the Hungarian algorithm.

Equilibrium without Friction of a Particle on a Mobile Surface with Bilateral Constraints
In this paper we will study the equilibrium of a particle on a mobile surface in the case characterized by bilateral constraints between the particle and the surface, and the absence of friction. Based on our previous wo...
Evaluation of Hydraulic Loads on the Runner Blades of a Kaplan Turbine using CFD Simulation and Model Test
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) is today a standard procedure for analyzing and simulating the flow through several hydraulic machines. In this process, the fluid flow domain is divided into small volumes where the gov...
Practical Platform for Open and Closed Loop Speed Control of an Inverter Driven Asynchronous Machine Used for Teaching Purposes
The paper presents a laboratory setup based on a SIMOVERT MASTER-DRIVES MC Inverter from SIEMENS used for open and closed loop speed control of an induction machine. The platform allows four quad-rant operation of the ma...
Model Equations of Shape Memory Effect - Nitinol
Even it has been already confirmed that SMA’s have high potential for robotic actuators, actuators included in space robotics, underwater robotics, robotics for logistics, safety, as well as “green robotics” (robotics fo...
Performance of Helical Coil Heat Recovery Exchanger using Nanofluid as Coolant
Nanofluids are expected to be a promising coolant condidate in chemical processes for heat transfer system size reduction. This paper focuses on reducing the number of turns in a helical coil heat recovery exchanger with...
