Optimizing the Treatment of Gastrointestinal Disorders in Food Intolerance in Infants

Abstract

Advisability of including the polyenzyme dietary supplement Sanzyme syrup in the combination treatment of gastrointestinal manifestations of food intolerance in infants has been studied. It is proved that taking polyenzyme dietary supplement by 70 infants with lactose deficiency and gastrointestinal food allergy leads to positive dynamics of clinical symptoms in terms of a decrease in abdominal pain syndrome, colic, posseting, flatulency in 91.1 % of children and the improved digestion according to the results of coprological survey in terms of the disappearance of steatorrhea in 43 patients (95.5 %), creatorrhea — in 40 children (88.9 %), amylorrhea — in 37 (82.2 %).
