ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE OF AGRIBUSINESS ENTERPRISES – COMPARATIVE STUDY
Journal Title: Zagadnienia Ekonomiki Rolnej - Year 2009, Vol 320, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper attempts to specify the present and desirable organization culture in enterprises from the agribusiness sector. This problem was considered according to six constituents: general characteristic of organization, style of management, style of human resources management, criteria of organisations integrity, high risk factors and approved success criteria. The authors also point to the role of „the organisations’ origin”, as a factor which has a special impact on determining the organisational culture, as well as to the decreasing role of the factor referred to as „direct relationship with the supplier.” The paper also highlights the role of organizational culture as a significant element of competitive potential of agribusiness enterprises.
