Abstract
The goal of the article is to reveal the strategy of "green growth" - a new model of economic growth. The urgency lies in the fact that there is still a low level of return from green activities, innovations and investments, while the development of the "green economy" will help to avoid our countries an environmental crisis that has already affected many of the post-industrial countries. At the same time, the prospects for the "green" development of the sectors and economy of Azerbaijan as a whole relate to a significant extent with the progress in energy, primarily with the development of alternative energy
