“Our life is a tavern and a temporary station”: existential problematics in Ukrainian romanticists’ epistolary works

Abstract
In the article, the existential problematic in romanticists’ epistolary dialogues is studied. The author mentions that romanticists demonstrate the combination of philosophical existentialism and deep religious Christian spirituality. For this reason, they regard the nature of such basic existential notions as love (friendship), solitude, sufferings, desperation, freedom, hope, and fear from religious and existential perspective.
