Abstract

Introduction. Today, more actual issues are the optimization and efficient use of modern technological resources through marketing tools in the functioning of metropolitan areas in accordance with the needs of their inhabitants. Consequently, modern information technology provides a wide range of marketing tools and opportunities for rapid and successful adaptation to external conditions that are constantly changing in a multi-vector environment. Purpose. The purpose of the work is to analyze the world's achievements in the field of information technology in the transport system using modern marketing tools. Results. Let's consider the use of some information technologies in the light of marketing tools. Elements of information technology in the transport system are: - hybrid cars; - batteries and infrastructure storage systems for hybrid cars; - stationary supermachines in power systems; they are used in transport systems because of minimal consumption and weight and convenience in service; - connecting / automated cars. Connected cars (connected cars) have direct access to the Internet and allow you to manage all connected devices, including smartphones, sensors, traffic lights, other vehicles; - intelligent parking is a technology that includes the necessary number of sensors, which determines the location and the distance of free parking spaces; - road transport system, i.e. safety, security, monitoring, control. Recently, the latest trends observed in the application of the components of the marketing complex, in fact, completely change the perception of the use of classic marketing tools. So, in the forefront of enterprise product policy, an effective innovation policy is emerging. The development of the Internet and the latest technology prompts rapid product changes and updates to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers. The same applies to the transport system, which is one of the most knowledge-intensive industries in the world. So, in the world, almost 25% of all investment in science and research falls into the automotive industry. Conclusion. The practical use of marketing tools will enable transport companies to selectively select marketing measures that are most effective in a particular market situation, optimize marketing processes, streamline and coordinate the selection of effective marketing tools.
