Abstract
This article is an attempt to describe the category of space in prison. We will start our considerations from official space (describe by the legislator) to this, which has been present by films producers. They usually come out unofficial a space in prison which was created by prisoner in prison. We will start from shorts theoretical consideration devoted to the category of space, to this how the space can influence to function of institution. After the theoretical introduce we go to the part of article devote to the category of space in prison.
