Parameter Estimation of Neutral Grounding Reactor for a Single Line to Ground Fault for Transformer

Abstract

Single line to ground faults are the most prominent faults in the power system. This may damage the generators and transformers in the system ultimately leading to its failure. Introducing a neutral grounding reactor between the neutral and ground in the high voltage system, will reduce the fault current and hence will protect the power system components. .
