PARTICULARITIES OF ELECTROMAGNETIC SOUNDING TO ASSESS THE GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF ROCK MASS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the beyond-contour state of hard rocks in the working benches of the Zhelezny open pit, JSC Kovdorsky GOK. The results are presented of electro-magnetic sounding of the rock mass composing a bench, together with visual and telemetric survey of borehole walls. Approaches are proposed for assessing the structural disturbance of the rocks in the working benches by electromagnetic sounding.
