PASIVE SUSPENSION MODELING USING MATLAB, QUARTER CAR MODEL, IMPUT SIGNAL STEP TYPE
Journal Title: TEHNOMUS - Year 2013, Vol 20, Issue 1
Abstract
The purpose of a vehicle suspension system is to improve ride comfort and road handling. In current article is simulated and analyzed the handling and ride performance of a vehicle with passive suspension system, quarter car model with two degree of freedom. Since, the equations of the system cannot be solved mathematically has developed a scheme in Matlab Simulink that allows analyzing the behavior of the suspension. The schema that was created in Matlab Simulink, were compared with the State space model and the Transfer function. After completing the simulation scheme can be introduced excitation signals, this case a step signal

ABOUT NATIONAL STRATEGY OF ROAD SAFETY IN PRESENT AND FUTURE
After the year 1990, the car park and also the number of drivers have almost tripled, being in a complete contradiction with the slow development of the infrastructure, leading to an increase in the percent of material a...
SURFACE ROUGHNESS VARIATION IN BALL END MILLING OF C45 MATERIAL. PART I: INCLINATION OF TOOL AXIS IN FEED POSITIVE DIRECTION
This paper primarily presents important experimental results, about surface roughness variation in ball end milling, for the case of tool axis inclination in feed positive direction. Secondary, using experimental results...
CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE CHUCK COLLETS
In this paper the authors aim to present the theoretical study of functionality of clenching mechanisms such as chuck collets, abbreviated MBE. For these chuck collets to function properly, a value for the angle of th...
U.S. QUENCHING AND DIMENSIONAL STABILITY IN TIME OF 100Cr6 STEEL
Due to the relatively high susceptibility to deformation and cracking, the bearings steel creates major problems to quenching, especially in the case of complex geometric configurations. On the other hand, the dimensiona...
MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR SMOOTHING PROCESS BY MECHANICAL SHOCKS OF CYLINDRICAL SURFACES
Smoothing by mechanical shocks is a processing method based on the impact effect of the balls with the work piece material. Specific phenomena such processing methods result in changes of mechanical properties of the sur...
